What Are the Symptoms of Pregnancy?

It may vary how a woman determines she is pregnant, but a common sign for every woman is a missed or delayed monthly period.   Some women will start to experience pregnancy symptoms the week that impantation first happens.  Interestingly, in some women, the signs of conception may not show for quite some time if ever. Your doctor should be your first point of contact if your having symptoms of being pregnant.

The embryo will implant in the uterine wall about 6 to 12 days after it is conceived.  When the following occurs a few women would feel some cramping and a little spotting.  If a woman has been sexually active, and a menstrual period is late or missed, she should get a pregnancy test. Phone your doctor if your having any questions about bleeding during pregnancy.

Once you have conceived the ensuing menstrual cycle will not occur.  Their are some instances that a pregnant woman could have bleeding during their pregnancy but this is not like the regular period because this kind is just so light.Your doctor would need to be consulted if you have questions about first trimester pregnancy.

Another sign of pregnancy is shown up within one and two weeks post conception the breasts would turn tender and swollen. The areolas might have a deeper color in a few women.

You will begin to feel fatigued very early in the pregnancy. One of the famous symptoms is the nausea that occurs many a times in the morning eventhough a few women experience this throughout their pregnancy. 

This symptom usually lasts for two to eight weeks, but some women never experience it. There might be pain in the lower back which occurs initially in pregnancy and normally continues throughout the period of the pregnancy as a dull type of ache.  Alteration of the hormones normally are the reason for headaches in the initial stages of pregnancy. 
Having to urinate greater than normal is one more signal of pregnancy and this starts about six week post the conception.
 

You will start having very noticeable cravings for food. They may not want to eat ice cream and pickles, though some women will have a penchant for some foods for almost entire period of gestation.  There are many choices for home pregnancy tests, but a visit to your health care professional should be your first step if you think you may be pregnant.
